FOR TODAY
Outside my window... it’s dark, as night closes in after a beautiful, sunny spring-like day.
I am thinking... about how beautiful the water of the bay and the gulf were today when we went to lunch.
I am thankful for... my kids and my grandkids. They’re a never-ending source of delight and an occasional source of frustration :)
From the kitchen... nothing except the faint, lingering scent of the pot roast I made last night. The garbage disposal is fixed so we can do dishes again (drat!)
I am wearing... an old pair of jeans that is getting a little big and a blouse. Barefoot, of course.
I am creating... answers to assignments people have posted in the workshop I’m teaching this month at RWA Online.
I am going... to my daughter’s new house later this evening.
I am reading... a book for the RITAs.
I am hoping... to be in my own house by this time next month.
I am hearing... The BackYardigans entertaining the 3-year old and the 10-month old blowing bubbles in her playpen.
Around the house... Silence on the edges of the kids’ contented noises. It’s a very nice sound.
One of my favorite things... root beer. I just swigged the last of my Diet A&W and wish I had more.
A few plans for the rest of the week: staying on schedule with both workshops I’m teaching, plotting the first novel in a series I’m hoping to sell soon, lunch with new friends on Saturday.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...

sherry, I love that.
Hey Sherry,
Just wanted to say I loved your article in the RWA newsletter about saggy middles. It was SO informative and right what I needed at this point in time!
Thanks again!
